    We'll ship your order on the same day if it is placed by 3PM PST Monday thru Thursday. After 3PM PST, orders will be shipped the next day. All orders placed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on Monday. Prior to final check-out, you will see few shipping options and estimated arrival dates. You will receive an e-mail confirmation as soon as we ship your order so you can track your package.

  • Will my credit card be charged immediately? Open or Close

    No, first we get an authorization from your card issuer and then charge your card once the order has shipped. As soon as we ship your order and charge your card, we send a confirmation email.

  • Was I charged twice? Open or Close

    No, first we authorize your credit card and then we charge it once the order has shipped. If you just placed an order, you may see the pending authorization on your banking details. This is a common bank practice to ensure sufficient funds and verify account authenticity. This authorization will clear (depending on your bank) usually within 48 - 72 hours. If you need help speeding up the process, you can contact the issuing bank of your credit card. Please only click the "Place Order" button once to avoid multiple authorizations.

  • How do I know that my order has been shipped? Open or Close

    For your own security and protection, and as part of a normal course of action around fraud control, if we find something suspicious regarding your order, we will call or e-mail you to verify your information. We may reject a suspicious order even if we get an authorization.

  • What are my payment options? Open or Close

    We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. All prices are displayed in US Dollars.

  • Are purchases on this website tax free? Open or Close

    Only in some states. By law, we are required to collect sales tax for customers with billing or shipping addresses in the states of California and Nevada where Chilli Beans has physical locations.

  • I just placed my order. Can I add another item to it? Open or Close

    Everytime you purchase something with us, our system automatic gererates an order. However, if you'd like to add an additional item, feel free to order something else right after the original purchase and send us an email with your previous order number to hello@chillibeans.com and we will do our best to ship them together.

  • How much is shipping? Open or Close

    All orders over $75 are free in the US. For purchases less than $75 a $5 flat rate fee is added to the total cost. This flat rate fee does not apply to International shipments.

  • Why was my order cancelled? Open or Close

    Occasionally an item may be out of stock and no longer available. We promise these cases are rare. However, if an item in your order does become unavailable, we will contact you within 48 hours about the cancellation. If your order contains additional items, these items will still be shipped to you and the unavailable item will be removed from your order and refunded so you can choose something else.

  • The sunglasses I want are no longer available on the website. What should I do? Open or Close

    Chilli Beans releases weekly collections in limited quantities, and we don’t normally rerelease the same styles. If you can’t find them online, they are probably sold out. But look for something similar, there are so many styles to choose from! You can also send us an email to hello@chillibeans.com with as much information about the desired product as possible and we will do our best to try to locate them in one of our retail locations.

  • RETURNS & EXCHANGES

    You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return your merchandise for a full refund. Your refund will be placed to your original payment method and requires a handling & processing fee of $5.00 (five US dollars) which will be deducted from the amount to be refunded to you. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Refunds are only available for online purchases.  

    At this time, we do not offer exchanges for online orders. If the item you purchased isn’t what you wanted and you would like a different syle or color, you will need to re-purchase a new item. 

    All returns must be unworn, unused and in their original condition with receipt attached. 

    All purchases of sale items are FINAL SALE, which means you cannot return, exchange or get a refund. However, sale items are still covered under our standard warranty against manufacturer defects for up to 6 months.

    Please note: Items purchased in one of our physical stores must be returned or exchanged at one of our Chilli Beans stores. We cannot accept returns online for items purchased in a store. Refunds are only available for online purchases.

  • How do I ask for a return? Open or Close

    Just login to your account, go to MY RETURNS and follow the instructions. You can also email us at hello@chillibeans.com to special requests regarding returns. Make sure you enter the order number, contact information and a brief description of the reasons you wish to return your product. You will be notified via email once your approved return has been received and processed, with detailed instructions on how to send your product back. 

  • Can you explain how your warranty works? Open or Close

    We guarantee our products to be free of manufacturer defects for up to 6 months from the original date of purchase. We will take items back for a refund. Chilli Beans will issue a refund within 30 days from the date of purchase for online purchases only. Your refund will be placed to your original payment method and requires a handling & processing fee of $5.00 (five US dollars) which will be deducted from the amount to be refunded to you. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

    Scratched lenses and other effects of normal wear and tear are not covered by our warranty. All Watches are covered for 1 year against manufacturing defects (excluded batteries). If your product is under the warranty period, please send an email to hello@chillibeans.com with a brief explanation of the defect and pictures (if possible) and we will provide you the further instructions. 

  • What happens to defective product still covered under the warranty? How can I get my replacement item? Open or Close

    Based on inventory availability, Chilli Beans will replace any current style which is determined to present a manufacturing defect. If a specific style is no longer available, Chilli Beans will offer a refund or issue a store credit. If your product is under the warranty period, please send an email to hello@chillibeans.com with a brief explanation of the defect and pictures (if possible) and we will provide you the further instructions.

    You will be notified via email once your approved return has been received and processed, with detailed instructions on how to send your product back.

    If possible, try to use the original package to pack and seal your return. Make sure you follow all the instructions on the Approved Return e-mail. We encourage you to ship your return using a carrier who will provide a tracking number to ensure that your package is returned to our warehouse (FedEx, UPS, USPS).

  • Can I return or exchange items that were purchased on sale? Open or Close

    All purchases of sale items are FINAL SALE, which means you cannot return, exchange or get a refund. However, sale items are still covered under our standard warranty against manufacturer defects for up to 6 months.

  • I live outside of the U.S. and purchased an item online. How do you handle international returns? Open or Close

    You can return them as per our standard return policy but you will be responsible for all duties, taxes and return shipping costs. Email hello@chillibeans.com for instructions.

  • I bought my sunglasses / watch in a physical store and want to make a return but there is no Chilli Beans where I live. Open or Close

  • I purchased my sunglasses/watch in another country at a Chilli Beans store. Can I return them in one of your U.S. stores? Open or Close

    Yes, you can, but the price of the product you have purchased may be different in our stores considering the local currency. The value of your product will be automaticly converted to the local retail price.

  • When will I get my refund? Open or Close

    Refunds or Store Credits will be processed within 10-15 days. A refund may not show up until your credit card's next monthly billing cycle. Your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from Chilli Beans. Your refund will be placed to your original payment method and requires a handling & processing fee of $5.00 (five US dollars) which will be deducted from the amount to be refunded to you. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Refunds are valid for online purchases only.

    For International returns, you are responsible for all duties, taxes and return shipping costs. If you return an item or refuse an item and we are charged a tax, the amount of the duty or tax will be deducted from your order total before we credit your account.

    If your order was placed Monday thru Thursday it will be shipped the same day or the day after. If your order was placed on Friday prior to 3:00pm PST, the order may be shipped the same day, if not it will be shipped on Monday.   • Where can I get my Chilli Beans frames adjusted? Open or Close

    If your Chilli Beans frames don't fit you perfectly, our skilled team would be happy to adjust your frames at one of our stores. If you're not in the area, most optical shops will make minor adjustments for free or a small fee.

    Please note: if you decide to have your frames adjusted, be sure to tell the technician to use low heat. Too much heat may cause bubbles, cloudiness, or even cracks to appear.

  • What's the best way to clean my lenses? Open or Close

    To thoroughly clean your lenses, simply rinse them with a mild dish soap and lukewarm water, and dry them with a soft cloth. For day-to-day cleaning of light smudges, a few swipes of the cleaning cloth included in your case should do the trick.

    Please be careful to avoid using hot water on your lenses, as they can develop bubbles or cracks when exposed to high heat. For mirror lenses, do not use any type of cleaning spray or soap, just water with a clean dry cloth.

  • A screw in my sunglasses fell out, can you send me a new one? Open or Close

    Unfortunately we do not ship parts but you can visit one of our locations and our skilled team will replace the missing screw at no additional cost. If you're not in the area, most optical shops will make minor adjustments for free or a small fee. Chilli Beans uses standard screw sizes, so it shouldn't be hard to get them replaced.

  • The nose pads of my glasses fell out can you send me new ones? Open or Close

    Unfortunately we do not ship parts but you can visit one of our locations and our skilled team will replace the missing nose pad with no additional cost. If you're not in the area, most optical shops will make minor adjustments for free or a small fee. Chilli Beans uses standards nose pad sizes, so it shouldn't be hard to get them replaced.

  • I lost my sunglasses and want to buy them again, can you tell me what style they are? If not, where do I find that information? Open or Close

    You can find that information on the original receipt. If you bought them online you can refer to your order confirmation email. You can also find this information on the product itself. For sunglasses and optical frames, the reference number is located inside on the arms and starts with OC or LV followed by few more letters and numbers, for the watches, its normally located on the back of the case and starts with RE or RI.

  • What's the difference between a non-polarized and a polarized lens? Open or Close

    Even though both polarized and non-polarized Chilli Beans lenses offer the same UV protection (UV400), there are some differences between them. Non-polarized lenses are designed to filter out all light and as a result everything looks darker. Polarized lenses are designed to filter out certain types of light and reduce the glare of a reflective surface. Polarized lenses can cause vision conflicts when looking at LCD displays because of the way the light is reflected which does not happen with non-polarized lenses.

  • How long should a Chilli Beans watch battery last? Open or Close

    In most cases, a battery in a brand new quartz watch with basic time and date functionality may last up to four years. As the watch ages, the mechanism becomes worn and drains more power (the reason why factory-installed batteries last longer). Typically replacement batteries last between one and two years. It is possible for a battery to last longer, but it is recommended to replace the battery every year to avoid potential leakage. Watches with functions such as lights, alarms, and chronographs drain more power, and the more these functions are used, the faster the battery will drain.
